Data Deletion Instructions

Disconnect a social account or request deletion of information associated with Tech401 services.

Disconnect Facebook access

You can revoke Tech401 Social Media Platform access through Facebook:

  1. Sign in to the Facebook account that authorized the connection.
  2. Open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
  3. Open Business Integrations.
  4. Select Tech401 Social Media Platform.
  5. Choose Remove and confirm.

Removing the integration prevents future access through that authorization. It does not automatically remove records that Tech401 must retain for security, legal or audit purposes.

Request deletion from Tech401

Email contact@Tech401.com with the subject Social Media Data Deletion. Include:

  • Your name and business or organization name.
  • The Facebook Page or other social account involved.
  • The email address used when the service was established.
  • A statement requesting deletion of the associated Tech401 Social Media Platform data.

What happens next

Tech401 will verify that the requester is authorized to act for the connected organization. For a verified request, Tech401 will remove or de-identify the applicable connection credentials and service data within 30 days, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing, dispute resolution or the establishment or defense of legal claims.

Backup copies may remain temporarily until they are overwritten through the normal backup-retention cycle.
